every night at seven thirty the people on our street emerge from their homes with pots and pans that they bang together in support of front line workers. my ten year old enthusiastically joins them. he goes out every night wearing pyjamas and a fedora. he bangs his pans, waves his hands, yells and dances. this is what I will remember about this time in my life.
