the intention and devotion to manifesting our dreams and desires fuels within us healing and wholeness which helps us to create great joy in our lives.

we were taught in school etiquette and ethics. we were taught to be polite and respectful. we were taught to be loving and kind. I may have forgotten algebra but I have remembered to hold doors open and greet people with a kind word and a smile.

we have within the core of our being evolutionary assets which touch our lives with sacred light when we immerse ourselves in deeply empowering experiences.

the heart, spirit and soul serve our deepest intentions when we as beings of light believe in and love who we are.

the darkness and depression of the mental health issues that have followed me throughout my life do not define me. they are but a part of who I am and over time I have come not only to understand them but to use them to frame my life in a way that my brain can accept. knowledge of self for me has been a healing tool which expanded my reality and opened doors to happiness. look within, learn what makes you the way you are and use that information to walk toward the light.

I climb the highest mountains of spirit only to find they are owned by corporations. I venture into landscapes of love only to discover they are manufactured by companies. I seek out wisdom from those who make it their life to serve only to realize that they are bought and paid for. I look in the mirror and ask myself am I true, real and authentic. we continue to watch our world fall apart and instead of fixing it we fight for the right to keep it racist, homophobic, sexist and misogynistic. we fight for the right to be wrong no matter the consequences. I care not what your political leanings are. I care only about what is in your heart. if we want a better world we have to start being better people.

there is a garden within filled with divine light which embraces my heart with joy. I go there to experience great peace and happiness when the world becomes too much for me.

when will we as a society stop not only demanding but deciding what women should do with their lives and their bodies. we accept the irresponsibility of men and make excuses for them while making laws that dishonour and disrespect women. there is no debate about this. our history tells us that we have mistreated women since the dawn of time. when are we going to stop voting for madmen and monsters. when are we going to be brave enough to change. it shouldn't be about politics. it should be about common sense, decency and love.

at the core of our being we are all conduits of light whose mission on earth is one of love and acceptance.

the clearest path is the one in which we share kindness and compassion as we walk into the light.

know that whenever you look into a mirror you witness a miracle of sacred beauty.

my spirit animal and the dove of peace were playing in the yard yesterday when they were joined by my inner child who thanked them for watching over me.

I sometimes share with the world my thoughts on mental illness, post traumatic stress and more. these are not cries for help but simple statements of truth. it is my way of purging. it is a releasing of negative energies from my mind. were I to be in a state of crisis and in need of help I would say just that. we all have our struggles and I survive mine by speaking openly, honestly and freely about them. thank you all for your concern. know that you are loved and appreciated. bless you all.

sometimes we have to be reminded of our blessings. I was in Toronto for a few days this week and spent a lot of time on Yonge street. no matter what politicians tell you the truth is the problem is getting worse. the homeless are getting more aggressive and the ones with drug problems and mental health issues are increasing. I look back at my short time on the street and my desire to kill myself and realize how fortunate I am. had I continued down that path I would have not only died but I never would have known the great success that I would have in the spiritual arts and I also would have never experienced the love and happiness that my wife and son bring me. I am sending love and light to those in need. I am sending out messages of hope to those who are lost. I am sending the truth of who I am as an example that anything is possible and that even in our darkest times we can ascend into the light.

a heart full of love fills the world with higher energies that foster spiritual growth and inspire well being.

spiritual practices create sublime experiences that put us in harmony with all that is sacred.

Today I Will Walk A Better Path

today I will walk a better path, live a better life and be a better man for we all deserve better.

I never thought i would get better but i did. I never thought I would survive but I did. I never thought I would find love but I did. who knew that to have true joy and happiness in my life all i had to do was change the way i think.

if we truly love who we are life becomes an extraordinary adventure of chasing butterflies and catching rainbows in which we rise into the light of all that is sacred.

there is a darkness within me that feeds off my depression but is has not been able to destroy me for I also have within me a divine light whose liberating power has always in the most difficult of times released in me vibrations of joy, beauty and bliss.

let it be our goal to contribute to making ours a better world by letting our spirit shine while living as free as the open sky.

children are blessings to us all. they are positively empowering beings of light whose love is the brightest star in the universe.

peaceful is the spirit whose expression of gratitude creates within the soul feelings of greater love and happiness.

embracing the light promotes well being, empowers relationships, releases spiritual powers and inspires within us the highest good.

express your divinity in pure positive ways and yours will be an illuminated path to a more beautiful world of greater happiness.

please at least try to be a better person today. please make an effort to not use your religious beliefs as a tool for hatred. please refrain from allowing your ignorance to fuel the flames of homophobia. please put your mysogyny in the garbage where it belongs before you hurt another woman. please at least try to be a better person today.

the mere intention of living your highest destiny enhances the quality of life and advances spiritual growth.

life grows richer and we grow stronger when we are in loving relationships that nurture and nourish the heart and soul.

I have slept on a park bench, a sidewalk, in a parking garage and on the streets and then one day I was given the opportunity to sleep first on a couch and then on a bed. these days I own a lovely home and sleep in comfort. I spent a long time wishing I could fall asleep and never wake up but now I wake up to the sound of the cat purring, my nine year old asking endless questions and telling me his dreams and my wife looking at me with the eyes of an angel. never give up hope for I have climbed from the bowels of hell into the heart of a heaven of my own creation.

deepen your devotion to yourself and your life will be a beautiful tapestry of light brimming with bliss in which every moment is a miracle.

the day I stopped worrying about who I was capable of becoming was the day I became who I was always meant to be.

today I will move beyond my limitations by walking a path of greater self worth that aligns with the light and love of all that is sacred.

fill your days with positive intent and you will produce profound changes that connect you to the sacred as they serve the greater good.
